I teach and research in the Department of Philosophy at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. I earned my Ph.D. in Philosophy and an M.S. in Data Science and Analytics from the University of Oklahoma. Drawing on an interdisciplinary background across philosophy and computer science, my research focuses on aesthetics and normative issues surrounding artificial intelligence. Currently, I investigate the moral aspects of anthropomorphic interactions with state-of-the-art large language models, as well as the nature and value of AI creativity.
